The Asus X series is created with beauty and functionality in mind. Asus places the classic, timeless design tag on the X550DP variant with its elegant spin-line finish, while making it 5 percent thinner than the previous X series model. The design also incorporates the IceCool technology that keeps the palm rest cool when in use. Asus X550DP comes with a glossy 15.6 inch HD display and is powered by an AMD APU A8-5550M quad-core processor clocked at 2.1 GHz, AMD Radeon HD 8550G + Radeon HD 8670M Dual Graphics with 2GB DDR3 VRAM with up to 8 GB DDR3L 1600 MHz RAM.
The storage size varies depending on the model and can go up to 1TB with Windows 8 as its operating system. The entire setup is powered by a 4-cell 3000 mAh battery and weighs at 2.26 kg with battery included.
